“Be cool in school-live every rule.”
Mr. Haymore

Reflection:  I feel like this quote isn't fully true. If you follow the rules all the time people will think of you differently. They won’t see you as a fun person and you could get judged on a lot.  At the same time I think that it is true because many teachers will respect you as a student and other students would think that you are reliable.

“The best recreation is to do good.”
William Penn

Reflection: This statement isn't really true. People do bad things for “good” reasons. For example if someone is attacking someone and the attackee kills the attacker people would see that as good. But it is actually bad because you ended someone’s life. Killing a “bad” person isn't good, it is equally wrong. I feel like you don’t just do good but you do bad as well.

“Right is right even if everyone is against it. Wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it.”
William Penn

Reflection: I don’t really have anything to say about this quote. At the end of the day your choice is up to you. If you want to go out with friends and party, you go ahead and do that. If you want to stay at home and study for a big test that you have the next day, go ahead and do that. No matter what you do no one can say or do anything about it because it is your choice, your decision. Just keep in mind that there are always consequences to your actions. No matter if they are Right or Wrong.

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches
Proverbs 22:1

Reflection:

I think that this proverb means that it is better to have a good name rather than have great riches meaning money. I think that this is true because if you have a good name you will be known as a great person and someone that you can rely on. If you have good riches then you will be only wanted for your money and nothing else. People would try to use you.

“A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life.”
Coach K
Mike Krzyzewski

Reflection: I think that this quote is true. In life, if you have a good name you will be well known and you will get a lot of respect. Many of the basketball players that he helped are now professional basketball players and they all respect him. Because of what he has down and how many games he has won he is very well known and had had good written in his name.

“A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself.”
Noemi Trigueros

Reflection:

In my opinion a great human isn't a CTR person. Many people who claim to be a CTR person have done something bad in their life before. The greatest people in the world didn't always choose the right. People don’t always do the right thing. Everyone has chosen the wrong at one point in their life.
