Questions Part 2

  A.     What I like about this class is the fact that we are on computers and the class is pretty easy. I like that we learn about new careers every time that we are in this class. What I don’t like about this class is that we aren’t really allowed to speak our own opinion out loud when it comes to the Student Success Statement.
   B.   I suggest that we should be able to give our own opinion about a certain topic. Me being a person that likes to give their own opinion, I feel like we kind of aren’t allowed to do that in this class.
   C.      I honestly did do my best in this class. One of my goals is to always try my best in whichever class, sport, etc.
   D.    Yes, I do read my goals daily. I even write in my goal book when I have free time.
   E.    Honestly, I am not committed in being a CTR person because I feel like no matter what everyone chooses the wrong at least once in their life. I know that I’ve made mistakes before in my life and I’m not the type of person to always be good.

   F.       I promise to always try to take care of my body and myself as a person.

Interdisciplinary Project Summary

Interdisciplinary Project Summary

During my Interdisciplinary project, it was honestly very stressful. My whole group did very well while doing the project and getting ready to present. Our presentation was on the topic of Asthma. Our argument was that schools should pay more attention to students who have asthma and their needs. Before the presentation we were all very nervous. We went over who was going to talk first, which was me, and he was going to say what slide. While presenting, I was very nervous and I felt my voice shake a lot. Overall, I felt that my group did pretty good. I did most of the talking but that was okay with me because I wanted to get a good grade and my grades do mean a lot to me. Today I found out that my group had gotten Proficient on our project which I am happy about.

"When I do good I feel good. When i do bad i feel bad."

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: What Abraham Lincoln is trying to say is that, whenever he does something good he feels good about him self and whenever he does something bad he feels bad about himself. One example is, if you were to give money to a homeless person, you would feel good because it was your decision whether you wanted to give that person money or not. If you were to steal something from someone, you would feel really bad afterwards and you might even have guilty thoughts. Overall, if you want to feel good you have to do good.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do.”
Richard L. Evans

Reflection: I think that this quote means that courage is what is going to help us continue choosing the right, but it is also going to help us stop doing what is wrong. I feel like this is a very good quote because what it is saying is true. We need courage to help us make a decision.

Patrick

When Patrick was a little boy she disobeyed his parents by not putting on his shoes. He instead put on flip flops thinking that they were around the same thing. while he was walking through the dessert, he felt something prick his foot. He then looked down and noticed that it was a scorpion. he felt the pain all throughout his leg and he felt like he was dying. His parents rushed him to the nearest hospital which was 2 hours away. when he had gotten to the hospital, the doctor told him that only children who suffered from malnutrition were in danger meaning he was safe. The moral of the story was that she should always listen to your parents and chose the right. Since Patrick didn't chose the right he suffered the consequences by getting stung by the scorpion.

“Always do right.”
Mark Twain

Reflection: I feel like you should always do right. No matter what the situation is you should always do right and think right. Being a positive person in life is very important, just like being a CTR person. It is important to be a person who always chooses the right in life because you do not live your life a lie. Always doing the right can lead to good things. For example, you can be rewarded with things; you won’t get in trouble because you didn't do anything wrong. Choosing the right is always good because people see you as a good person. You may also get good opportunities in life by good people.

lying

When you tell one lie it leads to another
Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie, it leads to another                               so you lie and lie without even trying
So you tell two lies to cover each other                                       and each lie you tell will keep
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,                                                          Multiplying
You’re in trouble up to your ears!                                            ‘Till the whole wide world will know
So you tell four lies to try to protect you                                                           you’re lying
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect                                                   then you’ll be
                             You                                                                                               Suspected
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect                                                                 Detected
A life filled with worries and fears                                                                       Rejected
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies                                                         Neglected
            You’ve told                                                                                                     Disliked
And half the things you say aren’t true                                                       And you should!
And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up                         When you lie, you’re closing the door
              And then                                                                                      On everything good
Whatever will become of you?

Always speak the Truth

Reflection: I feel like you should always tell the truth. If you continue to lie, eventually you will get caught onto your lie and people are only going to see you as a liar. You wouldn't
want to have you reputation ruined based on one lie. That is why you should always tell the truth even if you get in trouble.

Physical Fitness
“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”

Reflection:  I honestly don’t have much to say about this quote. Quite frankly I don’t understand the purpose that he is trying to get past. I understand that physical activity is very important but he should really explain himself more. Then again, this is only my opinion and it won’t matter.
