Duties and
Responsibilities:
Athletic Trainers conduct an initial
assessment of an athlete’s injury or illness in order to provide emergency or
continued care. They care for athletic injuries using physical therapy
equipment, techniques, and medication.
Salary:
The median salary is $40,302.
Education:
Graduate from a bachelors or master’s
degree program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic
Training Education. Must pass the certification examination conducted by the
Board of Certification.
Reflection:
I wouldn't want to become an Athletic
Trainer because it seems like a really big responsibility. It also does not
seem like my type of career.
